Inspection, (load-)testing, (re-)certification and reconditioning
Hendrik Veder performs inspections, certifications and testing for steel wire ropes and lifting-, towing-, rigging- mooring and lashing-equipment. Whether it is a small shackle or a heavy lift crane, or the anchor joining shackle in your mooring system, all require to be inspected to ensure that safety is ensured. To this purpose we comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001- 2008 and EKH guidelines.
Inspection & (re-)certification
As an owner of steel wire ropes, or lifting-, towing-, rigging-, mooring and lashing-equipment, you are obliged to see to it that this equipment remains safe. Therefore an annual inspection is mandatory. These inspections should be demonstrably performed by an expert party and put down in writing. In addition to the mandatory annual inspection, also inspections for several additional equipment are mandatory. Hendrik Veder performs maintenance inspections and equipment certification on site and in-house. An approved product receives a proof (re)certification or an inspection report. (load-)testing / load testing of cranes
All materials, both new and assembled materials, can be inspected according to customer’s requirements and (re)certified by all international classifications authorities (see below overview). The breaking load of hauling and lifting equipment can be tested in the test-beds facility. In-house we have several draw-benches with a capacity up to 8000 kN tons for the destructive testing and test loading of lifting equipment.
Reconditioning and overhaul
Let Hendrik Veder take care of the reconditioning and overhaul of steel wire ropes and lifting-, towing-, rigging- mooring and lashing-equipment.
