Anchor lines
These ropes have robust constructions in order to be able to withstand the deployment and redeployment process, when the drilling unit shifts location from one exploration job to the next. The ropes must be able to resist crushing on the drum of multi-layered winches, bending over fairleads, scraping along the sea bed, chaser damage and corrosion, just to mention a few of the extraordinary rigours of anchoring.
HV can supply anchor lines as large as 150mm in diameter in continuous lengths up to the equivalent of 120 tons per length.
